Whether you're about to embark on a full detox in January, or you simply want some goodness in your diet to start the new year, all the juice and smoothie recipes below are Mama Edit approved and will get 2018 off to a fine start!. Make sure to prepare them the night before when your little ones are in bed, so you can drink them straight from the fridge the next morning.
1. Carrot, Apple and Ginger Juice
Feeling the bloat after too much of the good stuff at Christmas? Carrot, Apple and Ginger juice will sort you right out! Ginger is the perfect remedy for bloating, while carrots contain tonnes of vitamin A.
2. Cucumber, Pear, Kale, Wheatgrass and Mint Juice
Try this refreshing cucumber, pear, kale, wheatgrass and mint juice. The mint addition is a key ingredient to aid digestion and wheatgrass is an amazing purifier, containing nearly every mineral you can think of!
3. Coconut Water Smoothie
This Coconut Water Smoothie is a hangover cure in a glass. (for anyone smug enough to have partied the night away over New Year) Coconut water is a great drink for hydration and add the bananas (which are loaded with potassium) to make the smoothie texture.

4. Green Smoothie

5. Orange Ginger Turmeric Juice
One to brighten these gloomy Winter days (two months and counting until Spring begins!) this Orange Ginger Turmeric Juice is perfect to kick-start your New Year. The addition of turmeric is health-boosting in itself not forgetting the good dose of vitamin C from the oranges - let's face it we all need as much vit C as we can to combat those annoying winter colds.
